Rise: Access for Students

An education at the University of Portland can utterly change the lives of young men and women – awaken them, jolt them, electrify them, thrill them, give them a dawning sense of their own creativity, of how their dreams might be made real. But, like any enterprise of immense value, an education is expensive, and for many students this cost is a wall too tall to scale. The RISE Campaign seeks to reduce this wall to rubble by raising $45 million for student aid. By creating hundreds of new scholarships, the Campaign seeks to create a University at which any bright, eager, ambitious student can enroll without incurring mountainous debt. Through the creation of scholarships, donors make an immediate and unforgettable impact on the lives of young men and women.
